I just watched an awesome episode of Monk. There was an actor who wanted to play him and became so obsessed that he became just like Monk. In the end they were both wrestling over a gun and it was hard to tell who was who. I particularly liked the bit where they were both trying to flatten a sticker with the gun completely forgetting that they are supposed to be fighting over it. I can't imagine an obsessive actor being given the part of someone who is obsessive compulsive though. You'd have to be a pretty thick producer to do that.

The part where the two normal cops were kissing was strange. I know it was a male and female actor playing the role of lovers, but it brought ideas of the real cops making out to mind and that WAS NOT PLEASANT. At least he fits the part of dizzy blonde.
