Webwise Dos and Don'ts

Work in Progress

As the new linear-thinking normal-minded center-brained folk have joined our gang at Dooms, there have been many posts questioning our opinions and authority upon certain matters. You wont believe how often people fail to comprehend the meaning in a sentence as simple as "Therefore demoing the diversity of the subject at hand.". Back to topic, a topic that made me very irritated to the point of verbal aggression was the way that members blindly contradict our judgment upon things that fail to deliver and what classifies as "a good idea". The main reason behind most of these directed rants (not arguments) was the issue that they didn't know about any alternative and therefore believed that whatever the alternative was it had to be worse than the one they currently use. I don't think any of them will contradict that statement but for the fact that I stated that it was their belief and not fact. My rebuttle is to say that they could not compare without the knowledge of each or at least a range of choices. How do you know something is worse if you have never tried it or even read reviews on that topic discussing a range. And while I float upon that mention, a review of a particular subject is obviously invalid if it is made by a person who supplies a component to the subject. Anyway, I hope that the following list of dos and don'ts will help those reading it to understand why we have this opinion.

[the text below has been translated from the text above for Doomsday members who have problems understanding my native language (British English)]

Because new members, who have a problem with thinking of things that other people do not already think, only think of things that other people would think of and have neither a technical or creative mind have singed up for Doomsday, there have been many posts that disagree with our personal choice and reputation on certain topics. People we read this post will not believe how often people fail to understand what a sentence as simple as "Therefore demoing the diversity of the subject at hand." means. Back on topic, a topic that made me so annoyed that I wrote text in an angry way was the way that members wrote posts that disagreed with our ability to critique on things that fail to do what they are supposed to do and what should be called "a good idea". The members that wrote the posts that disagreed often did not do any research into the subject. The main reason behind most of these monologues they posted in reply to use (I said monologues not arguments) was because they didn't know about any other ways that things could be done and that is why they thought that whatever the other way was it had to be worse than the way they used already. I don't think any of them will disagreed with what I just said apart from the part where I said that they think it is and not that it actually is. My reply is that they can't compare the ways of doing it without knowing all the ways of doing it or at least a few of different ways. How do you know something is worse if you have never tried it and never read reviews about it that talk about several ways and not just one. BTW, a review of a certain thing is obviously wrong if it's made by a guy who makes one of those things anyway. Anyway, I want the list of do's and don't's below to help the people reading it to understand why all the old members have the same opinions.
