Origins of the NEDM trend

I've made some research on the NEDM trend and here's what I found

The song
----
The song is from an old 2channel trend called Socket Rocket. The original video features a guy plugging his headphones into a wall jack and then the song begins to play causing him to dance the robot against his well. Throughout the video he tries to unplug his headphones and the music still plays, then he tries to get his headphones off and in the end he manages but then he can hear the music without them and everyone is dancing to the beat in the streets. Don't know where to find the vid. It was a long time ago.

The phrase
----
The website now known as The Well was called PussyFoot before and then PuppyPaws before that. The only surviving member from that site was SaikoKitty. Most of the other members have left and joined other sites since. The discussion was about the new Doom game and someone said the phrase "Have you got any Doom music?" or "NEDM♫" as they wrote it.

The video
----
The video is from 2channel again. It was originally known as BurnCat and was a meme on that site for ages. The vid had no music nor the phrase originally. It was a response to the Yiff in Hell craze that members of 4chan were posting on 2channel.

The combination
----
Somebody going by the name of woot01 view all three locations that day and decided to combine them all together and post it on 4chan as a response to the images of cat torture that were still being posted there at this time.

and so history was made

in response CrazeIt which was known as RapeThis at the time made a tend called "in soviet Russia cat burns you". 4chan then stole it and posted it on their site.
