A film was going to be made in America about a Russian soldier fighting in Africa. The soldier is well known by his nickname 'Monitor Lizard'. He is a truly awesome man and skilled at all kinds of combat. There are many stories about his adventures and he famously wields throwing axes, which is awesome. The movie was going to be called 'Monitor' and despite the fact that that is a stupid abbreviation it is not in fact the reason the film was never finished. Stories of why range from 'the actor was too young or too old' to 'the film is cursed' but the actually reason is rather stupid. African threaten to sue claiming they had the exclusive rights to the legend. They said that they would make their own movie but due to a public outcry about how they were portraying him in a dark and sinister light they decided not to make the movie. So now the legend can't be made into a movie by anyone but that hasn't stopped people all over the net making their own productions. The copyright holders are working with Google to remove all the content from the net but as long as you use other search engines like Yahoo or Baidu or something you should find it easy.
