When I release World to the public (obviously after completing it) I'm going to release several versions to cater for different audiences. I've included a simple mock up of what the logos may look like.
World: Green - This is the basic package complete with poor quality graphics. This isn't slimmed down, just not elaborated on. This is the prototype plus all the characters and plot and stuff. Maybe with some of the clever bits explained better.
World: Blue - This is the plus package. It is basically Green plus plenty of pretty graphics and with much harder difficulty. Don't wait up for this version cause it'll be a long time coming after green.
World: Yellow - This is the chibi-fied kids version. Like Lego Star Wars is to Star Wars. Yellow will be rewritten to cater for younger audiences and all the graphics will be made more simple and more colorful. All the gore will be removed along with any adult themes or anything too complicated for kids to understand.
World: Grey - This is the full blown fanboy version. All the technical crap explained in detail and tons of facts about the structure of the language, historical events and how magic works and stuff. Rewritten to incorporate all the explanations and with a shit load of special features and content for the nerdy followers.
World: Red - This is the gore-fest version. Gory for the sake of being gory. Mortal Kombat eat your heart out 'cause this shit is here to take violence to new levels of creativity. From people stabbing their fingers in a guys arm to pull their tendons so they grab someone to people spewing bile from every orifice, even the eyes. This is a totally dark horror movie style slaughter-fest. I'm hoping it'll set new standards in the gore market and you know how creative I can be.
World: Pink - This is a porn version. I wasn't going to do it but when I realized just how many sex scenes have been written out of World over the years, how much perverted fan-fiction there was and how many things Mon has made that she's willing to incorporate into it, I felt I had to do it nay would seriously benefit from it.
World: Black - This is everything those damned censors won't allow in the green package. From 5 year old kids having their brains blown out, to slavery and torture scenes, to some pretty racist slurs by the bad guys. I may even fabricate some stuff for your enjoyment. I like it when World pushes the boundaries and I hate having to keep safe just 'cause the man says so. The internet is a hive for this stuff so Black will only be available online so enjoy while you can.
World: Brown - This is all the absolutely classic moments that the general public just wont understand. This is the most epic one in my opinion but all the action scenes people would expect are taken out. This is world as it should be, with more epic dialogue and scenes you have to watch really well or you'll not have a clue later. Every fight lasts one or two moves and they are bouts of skill rather than action. This is the original format.
World: Prism/Rainbow/Spectrum - This is going to be a completely off the wall crazy, random version with unexplained madness from beginning to end. It's going to be the funniest one of the packages in my opinion but don't expect it to make much sense, honestly don't. It may also stand as a core product for the other packages, instead of being crazy, random that is. I might call Prism "World: Clear/Transparent/Ghost/Blank/Colorless/etc". I may call the random one "World: Orange" and leave Prism as the central hub.
World: White - This is still just speculation but it'll either be a core package for World, an amalgamation of all the packages, just a souped up version of Green with better resolution but not necessarily prettier or like a version showing the development stages of the game in game or as collectible content as well, this version may in fact swap places with green if the latter is the case.
Personally I'd like to play the standard Green package and Brown but play Black every so often. Green as it's well rounded, Brown as it is just so epic and Black just for intrigue and to disgust myself.
If you'd like you can tell me which you'd prefer and for the sake of argument presume Prism will be crazy and White will be the development version.
