2 parts

This is in two parts as each thing isn't really big enough for it's own post.

#1: New to Doomsday

Butter Leaf - Not entirely sure what this site is about. It seems to be something to do with computers but everyone is a little vague on the details. I'm not even certain they know what the site is about. My guess is that they wanted to make a site about a butter leaf and then kinda got lost along the way. The makers are very driven if a little disorganized and confused. The owners already have a good reputation that proceeds them. They've made some good social networking sites, computer and electronics store sites, an auction site and several gallery sites. They tend to be the designers of the site and creators of the initial concept but all the specifics are always handled by someone-else. We're glad to have them aboard, but until this site is more than a name and a set of profiles, I don't think there'll be anyone visiting it.

Thorax - Strategy and RPG gaming site including card battle and miniature figure games. Apparently they already have a large following before they joined Dooms. There's a load of games advertised there including... !!ban bana ban!! ...Trickster Online, Maple Story, Gaia Online and Second Life. I've been looking around the minifig section and I'm quite impressed. I never knew just how expansive those War Hammer like things were. Anywho, yeah good site for strat and role-play and there's even a few made by the members. I'll definitely be going back and I'll suggest some of the ones I've reviewed to them.

#2: What Died Today

poopit - I'm not sure just how to read this title it's either Poop It or Poo Pit. Anyway, it's a site dedicated to YouTube Poop style humor. Get ready for plenty of CGI references and Mama Luigi because this site has done it to death, even to the extent that the response vids are just elaborations on the original. There's only so many times you can see George the Volcano explode. I'll be going back but not for a while. You get bored real fast. There's not much creativity among its members but what did you expect.

Under Dawg - Dedicated to weird and wonderful people on the net. Rather than the others I've seen that seem to be filled with an abundance of just creepy or unbelievable stuff, this ones members seem to consist entirely of truely epic peeps. The one problem is that you have to post a portfolio to them in an email, which has to be approved, before you can get membership and are able to post content. I suppose it's a way of keeping the general public out but it does kinda ruin the fun of it.
