Artificial-Verse

Two things that I saw on What Died Today, Artificial Player & MyVerse.

Artificial Player is a site dedicated to web design and development. They have lots of tutorials and special techniques for using Flash, CSS & Javascript, including how to make browser based games appear to be running on a database hench, 'Artificial Player'. There was nothing wrong with the site, it wasn't badly designed or implemented but alot of its members were using the code for malicious purposes like phishing sites and form readers. When they refused to remove tutorials that could be used for this purpose, the guys at the top shut them down. Even on WDT, the archive is missing a lot of tutorials. I'm hoping these guys might be interested in joining.

FaceVerse, FleshVerse, GreenVerse & MechVerse are part of MyVerse. MyVerse is a site quite similar to Elementa. There are 4 worlds, each with their own properties. You can make a character and each world has its own race. Each world only accepts abilities, items and races that belong to it but there is a central world called HubVerse where anything is allowed. FaceVerse is a cartoony, cute world where everything is alive and bares a face on it somewhere. FleshVerse is a gothic world where the undead reside and their are lots of mutant plants and things. GreenVerse is a jungle, where fairies and dragons live. MechVerse is a futuristic, technological distopia, where everyone is robots. Personally I take this as insulting as it is pretty much just my idea but done badly. I hope they get picked up coz they have an OK product but I hope it's not Dooms that does it.
